Tim Thomas
Last Monday, Jose Garcia broke the news that a new USL Pro franchise was awarded to Phoenix. You can check out the official press release here. Tim joins the guys to breakdown the plan the USL Pro team has. He also mentions some possible names (hopefully the team name is AzKicksIt) and possible places they will play. Tim also talks about how he wants to get the community involved behind this team.
Jose Garcia - @azc_garcia
Jose pretty much knows everything about Arizona soccer. You can check out his most excellent soccer blog here. Jose has dealt with numerous semi-pro teams throughout the city of Phoenix over the past years. Jose breaks down what must be done for the team to succeed, and he sticks around to ask questions to Tim & Rick.
Jose sat down with Tim and has a bunch more information here
Rick Schantz – @RickSchantz1
Head coach PDL playoff bound FC Tucson Rick Schantz joins the guys to talk about the amazing season FC Tucson has had. Rick talks about how their team has been able to overcome a lack of scoring by having one of the best backlines in the PDL. Rick also talks about how FC Tucson has been able to captivate the community of Tucson and offers his thoughts as to what a USL Pro team means to the state of Arizona. Rick also previews the playoffs and explains how he is getting his team ready.
