Lewis of the Salt Lake Tribune and Kayla Knapp, a co-founder of Women United FC. G & J also break down this past week’s MLS action, and talk about the debut of FC Tucson in the PDL.

Justin, a second-year pro for the Minnesota Stars FC, talks about the success the Stars have had over the past year and what it was like being credited with the assist in last year’s North America Soccer League Championship. Justin talks about the lack of soccer representation in Arizona and how ASU and U of A should have a Division 1 soccer program to keep talented players in state. Justin then mentions the positive influence youth clubs had on his development as a player.

Michael C. Lewis – @MCLTribune
Michael joins the guys to breakdown the recent funk RSL has been in the past few weeks. Michael mentions how RSL has been “not great,” but have shown promise during this time. As members of the team come back from injury, Michael talks about the importance of Javier Morales, and what Tucson-born Nat Borchers means to RSL’s backline.
Kayla joins the guys to talk about the group she co-founded, Women United FC. WUFC is gathering point for women who support a MLS team. Kayla talks about how the group was founded (through social media!) and how she fell in love with soccer. Kayla is originally from New Hampshire, now lives in L.A. and has become a Galaxy fan. Garrett then asks Kayla to explain whats going on with the Galaxy. Kayla touches on the comments Simon Borg made said, and how WUFC has become an advocate for all female soccer supporters.
